Chess Clock, Scoreboard & Dice is provided by Kimbytes. You do not need to create an account to play.
Clock settings, player names, scores, saved games and counters are processed on your device. We do not upload the contents of your games.
We create a random identifier for your installation. Our Firebase backend receives basic events such as app launches, the onboarding choice, tools opened, and paywall, purchase and restore interactions, together with the platform and event time. We use this information to understand which features work well and improve the app. These records do not contain player names, scores, or contacts. We retain up to the latest 300 activity events per installation.
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and managed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives the installation identifier and purchase information to verify Pro access and restore purchases. Our backend receives authenticated RevenueCat purchase lifecycle events, including trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds, product identifiers, transaction dates and amounts. These records are joined to installation activity for subscription analytics. We do not receive your payment card details. Store services and purchase verification require an internet connection. Purchase records may be retained as needed for support, accounting and legal obligations.
On iOS, we use Apple's AdServices attribution token to understand whether an installation resulted from an Apple Ads campaign. The token is sent to Apple through our backend and to RevenueCat. Our backend does not retain the token; it records the returned attribution status and campaign, ad group, keyword, organization and country identifiers, when available. These records are associated with the random installation identifier and purchase events to measure our own marketing. We do not use IDFA, show third-party advertising, or sell this information.
The app downloads settings from Firebase, including which purchase offer to show. Firebase, RevenueCat and the app stores may process network and diagnostic information needed to provide their services.
You may remove locally saved app data by deleting the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription; manage subscriptions in your Apple or Google account. For privacy questions or a request to delete stored app activity or attribution, contact us. We may need your installation identifier to locate a record. Financial records required by law may need to be retained.
